A whole group of PPTCer took the I-70 tour through Kansas for the Ironman Kansas 70.3. President Nicole D, Jessica B and Steve V (and a few others) all faced up to the rolling hills, wind and heat and humdity of Lawrence to finish the challenging 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run. Tracy Thelen made the trek out to Birmingham, AL and Oak Mountain State Park on June 13th to tackle the course, the conditions and the competition at the Xterra South East Championships. While the competion was stiff and the conditions brutal for racing, she handled the course well! Her race report is up on her blog.
